Essay on Environmental pollution  

"We won't have society if we destroy the environment".  Our ailing planet is blubbering with pang.  Man in order to satiate his materialistic pursuits is destroying the green cover giving rise to pollution. The thick shroud of haze in Delhi has blanketed our GDP too.  According to recent survey of 150 companies released by the ASSOCHAM found that 5% to 10% of employees had taken time off with work with respiratory problems caused by the smog. The deteriorated air quality has risen to atrocious levels keeping educational institutions closed. India has been ranked as the sixth most vulnerable country in the world in terms of facing extreme weather events. Pollution due to industrial activities, vehicles, urbanisation, deforestation and population overgrowth are root cause to hurt our environment.

One and a half acres of forest is cut down every second. In order to content cupidity, man is chopping down trees at a very alarming rate.  Trees are one of the most prominent part of our ecosystem.  They do selfless service and furnish us infinite advantages without charging a penny. Life can only possible due to trees.  They provide oxygen to us, bower to fauna, reduce global warming, diminish various type pollution & purity the environment.  To eradicate pollution, we all should join hands, tree trees and sensitize people to end this menace.
